Texas Highway Officials have not released the name of the woman who was injured when the vehicle she was operating suffered a tire blowout, veered from the roadway, collided with a truck operated by Michael Valdez, and launched off a bridge near Jones Maltsberger Road. Texas Highway Patrol are considering charges against one person, and have identified one person injured in a suspected San Antonio, TX DUI accident on December 27th, 2012. Heather Leighow was operating a vehicle that ran a stoplight and collided with a vehicle occupied by a man, woman, and infant. A passenger of Leighow, Dawn Coombs was also seriously injured, and required helicopter transport to nearby University Hospital. One woman is in critical condition following a December 13, 2012 collision with a cow. Kelsey Jackson was reportedly eastbound on Highway 283 when the car she was operating struck a cow and left the roadway before coming to a stop in a nearby field. San Antonio authorities have named the individual they think is responsible for a Christmas Day 2012 rollover accident in San Antonio, TX. Police have charged Abelardo Muniz Jr with two counts of Intoxication Assault and three counts of Driving While Intoxicated with a child under the age of 15 after the vehicle he was operating lost control and rolled several times on Texas Highway 151. Texas Highway officials have released the name of the man who was seriously injured in an El Paso, TX car accident on December 21st, 2012. Elias Gutierrez was reportedly ejected from a vehicle operated by Esteban Carveo when it lost traction on unpaved roadway and lost control. Corpus Christi police have arrested the driver who fled the scene of a December 20th car accident. Police believe Eric Baugher was reportedly operating his SUV when he collided with a compact vehicle on the Interstate 37 on ramp and allegedly fled the scene. El Paso police have arrested the man suspected of seriously injuring two people in an alleged street-racing accident in El Paso, TX on December 17th, 2012. Police believe William Moss was engaged in a street race when one of the vehicles lost control, left the roadway, flipped and rolled several times before knocking down a utility pole and coming to a stop. San Antonio police have identified the man who was trapped in his vehicle and critically injured on Saturday, December 22nd, 2012 in San Antonio, TX. Cornelius Jackson was reportedly approaching the intersection when he struck a utility pole on the side of the road.

Jackson was trapped in the wreckage of his vehicle and had to be removed by mechanical means. He suffered severe injuries to his left arm, and leg, and was rushed to San Antonio Military Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition.

Texas State Troopers have identified the individual seriously injured in a December 19, 2012 car accident in McGregor, TX. James Richard Westerfield II was operating his pickup truck when for reasons unknown the vehicle left the roadway and struck an embankment just off Mother Neff Parkway. According to local news reports from the Thousand Oaks, CA area, a car collided with a power transformer on Calle Yucca, leaving  over 100 people without power and injuring the driver and his passenger.
