Texas Highway Patrol are considering charges against one person, and have identified one person injured in a suspected San Antonio, TX DUI accident on December 27th, 2012. Heather Leighow was operating a vehicle that ran a stoplight and collided with a vehicle occupied by a man, woman, and infant. A passenger of Leighow, Dawn Coombs was also seriously injured, and required helicopter transport to nearby University Hospital.

Leighow reportedly told officers that she had consumed a small amount of alochol earlier in the evening , and was told officers that she was unaware that Coombs was in the car as her passenger. The man, woman and baby in the car she collided with all reported minor to moderate injury and were also hospitalized.
