Texas Highway Officials have not released the name of the woman who was injured when the vehicle she was operating suffered a tire blowout, veered from the roadway, collided with a truck operated by Michael Valdez, and launched off a bridge near Jones Maltsberger Road. The woman was rushed to nearby San Antonio Military Medical Center where her condition remains unknown.

Valdez reported no immediate injuries at the scene of the accident, and even attempted to render aid to the injured woman with other passersby until professional Medical Response teams arrived on scene.
