A pedestrian accident in San Angelo, TX last Friday (February 22, 2013) sent a 7-year old girl to Shannon Medical Center for head injuries. Texas DPS troopers reported that Jimmy Moffett, 37, of Grapeland was taken to ETMC-Tyler after a single-car accident last Wednesday, February 20, 2013. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that a young child was airlifted from Bryan County, OK to a hospital in Plano, TX last Friday (February 22) after sustaining a severe head injury. According to local news reports, Tyler, TX officials cited one driver after a two-car accident last Friday (February 22) on Troup Highway. 5 people were seriously injured in Corpus Christi, TX last Friday after a 3-vehicle accident along I-37. CCPD said that a vehicle was stopped along the shoulder of I-37 at about 2:30 a.m. on February 22 and the driver was changing a flat tire when they were hit from behind by another car lost control and swerved off the interstate. According to news reports, a 17-year old student at G.W. Brackenridge High School in San Antonio, TX was taken to University Hospital last Friday, February 22, after being hit by a car. According to local news reports, San Antonio police have arrested a 35-year old driver on charges of intoxication assault after a car crashed into a local home and injured an elderly woman inside. Teresa Villarreal, 73, was treated at University Hospital for a broken eye socket after a car crashed through the wall of her bedroom early Sunday morning and landed on her bed, where she was sleeping. San Antonio, TX news reports have confirmed that a Hispanic woman was hit last Friday evening, February 22, by a car at Fredericksburg and Bluemel. The accident happened at about 8:45 p.m. and the woman was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries.
