UPDATE!!!
Despite the rumors Jason Halcrow the injured rider spoken of below did not lose his life in this accident. He sustained major injuries including losing a good portion of tissue from his back side as well as losing a leg and suffering a broken arm.
He is awake and communicating with his family and doctors are optimistic that he will make it. Mr. Halcrow is a 33-year-old father of five and was recently married.
A note from E. Michael Grossman:
My law firm has represented many numerous motorcycle accident victims and the resounding theme is that motorcycle accidents are very likely to end in disaster. I am glad to hear that Mr. Halcrow is doing better than originally thought. Make no mistake about it he will have a long road ahead of him but it sounds like he has a very loving and supportive family and in these kinds of accidents that is a crucial element in recovery. I wish Mr. Halcrow and his family the best.
