On May 7 2008 two sisters Alanna Pittard and Danielle Pittard were hit by a pick-up truck while walking on Fairdale in Houston TX. The driver of the truck fled the scene leaving the two sisters laying unconscious in the street.
Both women were taken to a local hospital. Alanna was released shortly thereafter but Danille Pittard suffered some major injuries including a broken pelvis a damaged kidney and facial injuries. Later today she will undergo surgery to repair her broken bones.
Pittards family requests for anyone with information about the accident to come forward. They have even asked the guilty party to turn his or herself in.
