When a suspected drunk driver causes harm to befall another person a number of parties may be held civilly liable for such an injury accident depending on the specific circumstances that may have led up to the auto accident. For instance while an alleged drunk driver can be held civilly liable for their suspected reckless driving a negligent bar or restaurant may also be held liable for the same injury accident if they were negligent in regards to the service of alcohol to a person that then causes harm to themselves or others. However establishing that such a chain of events occurred often takes the work of a third party investigation that works to identify all liable parties that may have played a role in leading up to this untimely accident.
