Wednesday, July 31st 2013 — An unidentified 16-year-old male was confirmed in reports as being the driver of a pickup truck involved in an accident with a box truck on Wednesday in Vancouver, WA. He was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center for treatment of a broken hand, possible injured leg and lacerations to the face sustained in the accident.

Accident reports state that the pickup truck the teen was driving allegedly went over the center line of SR 502 and struck the box truck head-on as it was turning. Washington State Police have ruled out the involvement of drugs and alcohol in the accident, but investigation into the possible cause of the accident is still ongoing.
