Monday, July 29th 2013 — Amanda Lloyd, 25, was identified in reports as the driver of a Ford Taurus that was involved in a head-on accident with a Mercury Sable in Middle Township, NJ on Monday. Lloyd was taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment of serious injuries sustained in the accident. Her condition was described as being ‘very critical’ by emergency responders.

Accident reports note that the southbound Ford Taurus involved in the accident allegedly went over the center line of Route 47 and struck a Mercury Sable head-on. The driver of the Taurus was ejected from the vehicle, and five occupants of the Sable, including three children, were all injured. Investigation into the potential cause of the accident is still underway.
