Wednesday, June 26th 2013– According to accident reports, the owner of a BBQ restaurant received a call that his restaurant was on fire on Wednesday. Stephen Treat, the owner of the restaurant, then sped to the scene of the fire and on his way was involved in an accident with a van. Authorities noted that he was traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the accident.
Scene of the Accident:
Treat was treated for a laceration to the forehead, but reports did not specify whether or not that treatment took place at a hospital or was done on the scene. The driver of the van, identified in reports as Gary Nagel, was not injured in the accident.
