Friday, June 28th 2013– Firefighters and investigators with the Amarillo Police Department were busy on Friday trying to determine the potential causes of a fire that suddenly engulfed a house while a plumber was working in the kitchen. Preliminary investigation reveals that the plumber may have inadvertently sparked the fire, though how he managed to do that is still speculation.
Scene of the Accident:
THe fire caused moderate damage to the house, but it is not clear exactly how badly the plumber was injured in the blaze. Investigation into the accident is underway and is expected to conclude within the next week.
