Friday, May 31st 2013– A total of seven people were reportedly injured when a car allegedly ran a red light and was hit by a Capital Metro bus in Austin, TX. Five of those people required transport to a hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident, but the nature and severity of any of those injuries has not been noted in reports regarding the accident.
Scene of the Accident:
The accident is currently under investigation by both the Austin Police Department and Capital Metro officials. The car that was hit by the bus was totaled, but no reports mentioned whether or not the occupants of that vehicle were injured.
