Authorities from the Texas State Troopers have yet to identify the individuals injured in a suspected Amarillo, TX drunk driving accident on Tuesday, March 19th, 2013. Police and accident investigators believe William Lay may have been intoxicated when the vehicle he operated collided with four other vehicles as he navigated South Western Street in Amarillo.

According to the report, four people, including Lay, were transported by emergency response personnel to a nearby hospital where an update on their condition was not made immediately available by staff. The investigation into the fatal accident is currently active and ongoing by personnel from local and state agencies. Lay currently faces charges stemming from the accident.
