Officials from the Texas State Highway Patrol have yet to identify the two individuals seriously injured in Harris County, TX on Feburary 27th, 2013. Police and accident investigators currently suspect that one vehicle was bobbing and weaving in traffic when it found itself unexpectedly in the path of a pickup truck. When the vehicles collided, the first vehicle was vaulted into a nearby ditch just off the roadway.

Two individuals in the vehicle were reportedly transported by emergency response personnel to a nearby hospital where an update on their condition was not made immediately available by hospital staff. The as-of-yet unidentified driver of the pickup truck did not report immediate injury stemming from the accident. The investigation into the two-vehicle collision is currently active and ongoing. Authorities hope that any eyewitnesses that have not yet come forward will do so in an effort to aid investigators in better understanding the nature of the accident that hospitalized two individuals.
