Sherman, TX news reports said that a 17-year old autistic teenage boy was flown to Plano Medical Center on Tuesday night, February 26, after being stuck by a car. The accident happened as the teen was crossing FM 1417 at Center Street and was hit by a southbound Toyota Corolla.

The teen sustained head injuries and a broken leg while the Toyota’s driver, an unnamed man, suffered a broken hand. The man was taken to TMC via a private car and the teenager was airlifted to Plano Medical Center in stable condition. Police said that the teen was likely crossing the street to reach the Creekview Apartments nearby.
