According to local news reports in Conroe, 21-year old Bailey Kirk was named as one of the injured persons in a two-vehicle accident on Firetower Road. Kirk, who is from Conroe, was injured when his car struck another vehicle while he was trying to pass another vehicle.

DPS reports said that Kirk was driving north on Firetower Road on Monday afternoon, February 25, when he attempted to pass another car near Tommy Smith Road. As he passed the car, 17-year old John Lam pulled out in front of Kirk while trying to turn north from Tommy Smith onto Firetower and caused a collision. Kirk’s vehicle, a black sedan, left the road and overturned twice before hitting 2 trees. He was injured along with his two passengers and all were taken to a hospital for injuries not believed to be life-threatening. The accident is expected to be investigated further.
