Texas DPS troopers have confirmed that 28-year old Michael Whitman was injured just outside Marble Falls, TX last Sunday in an accident along FM 1431. The accident reports said that Whitman was taken to Round Rock Hospital on February 17, 2013 at about 2:22 a.m. after his pickup truck lost control on FM 1431 and hit a tree.

Whitman was headed east along FM 1431 near Manzano Mile early Sunday morning, reports said, when he failed to maintain control of his pickup truck as he approached a curve in the road. The pickup truck then left road and Whitman over-corrected, causing it to swerve into a tree. Whitman was taken to Round Rock Hospital by responding paramedics in critical condition and was upgraded to stable condition on Monday, February 18. The cause of the accident wasn’t determined.
