The Food and Drug Administration has initiated a recall of dialysis machines made by Baxter International. This recall is classified as Class 1 meaning the consequences of these machines malfunctions can be serious adverse health consequences or death. So far no injuries have been reported. Baxter International is currently searching for the source of the malfunction.
