According to recent news reports, a single-car accident on Farmington Road east of Gunter, TX left one 21-year old man injured last Friday, January 25, 2013. Michael Ferguson, 21, was injured last Friday afternoon after he lost control of his silver sedan along Farmington Road and crashed into a tree.

Authorities reported that Ferguson was driving on Farmington at about 12:30 p.m. and lost control near Majors Road, swerving off Farmington and hitting a tree. He was injured and had to be extricated from the sedan via the Jaws of Life; he was then taken to a hospital in a non life-threatening condition. The accident may have been influenced by alcohol, Texas DPS troopers said, but no details were confirmed.
