Dallas, Texas — A man was arrested and at least three other people were injured after a major two-car accident late Friday night in Dallas. Police said that a Ford Crown Victoria and a Toyota Corolla collided with each other at the intersection of Jim Miller Road and Seco Boulevard.. Two people in the Ford were hurt as well as the Toyota’s driver.
The accident happened around 10:00 p.m. on Friday night, September 18, 2015.
Police said that the Toyota Corolla had been driving south on Jim Miller Road that night when it crossed the intersection at Seco Blvd and crashed into the side of 22-year old Cristian Medina-Palomares’ Ford Crown Victoria.
Immediately after the wreck, Medina-Palomares got out and (allegedly) fled the scene on foot, leaving his two injured passengers behind.
Paramedics were called to the scene and they took the Toyota’s driver to a hospital, but treated Medina-Palomares’ passengers at the scene.
The police said they later apprehended Medina-Palomares, charging him with fleeing the scene. They also noted that while it wasn’t clear who was at fault in the wreck, it looked like neither of the drivers braked when they entered the intersection.
