State College, PA – Around half past 9 Wednesday morning, Ronald Myers, 56-years-old was injured in a construction accident at Fraser Centre, in State College, PA.
According to reports, the accident happened at the Fraser Centre construction site at the corner of Beaver Ave. and Fraser St. Mr. Myers was apparently pouring concrete on the second floor of the construction site, when the tool he was working with struck an electrical wire in a nearby alley. Mr. Meyers reportedly suffered burns and needed to be lowered to the street. The total extent of his injuries is unknown at this time,
but they were serious enough that he was taken by helicopter to UPMC Pittsburgh.
There is no word of a possible investigation in any of the news sources. They also conveniently leave out the name of Mr. Meyer’s employer.
