Austin, TX – Two people were injured, one seriously, when their cars collided head-on on TX 45, near Escarpment Blvd., Friday morning.
We don’t have too much concrete information about this accident, but we know it happened around 10:35 a.m. Friday morning. As a result of the accident, both drivers were pinned inside their vehicles. Emergency crews extracted the two drivers and they were taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge.
There are indications that one of the drivers was a woman in her 30s and that she sustained potentially life-threatening injuries. The injuries to the other driver were described as serious. At this time, we do not know the identity of either driver and we don’t have any updates about their current condition.
There is no word of any investigation into the accident, or a possible cause.
