Spokane, WA – Two people were critically injured in an accident involving a Spokane Transit Authority van on Thursday, September 3rd, 2015.
From what we can tell, a Subaru sedan was traveling southbound along Browne Street and when it struck a Nissan Altima and STA Vanpool van at Third Avenue. The van was traveling eastbound on Third and was attempting to turn south onto Browne in order to enter the eastbound Interstate 90 ramp.
A woman who was lying down in the van was ejected and critically injured.
She was transported to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center. Her condition is not known.
The driver of the Subaru was seriously injured. His condition is not known.
Authorities are looking into this accident. At this time there’s been not mention of distracted driving or mechanical malfunction in conenction with this accident.
