Kansas City, MO — An early-morning accident involving a school bus left at least one person injured, possibly more. Police said that a school bus and a tan-colored minivan crashed into each other at the intersection of Chelsea Avenue and East 30th Street on Monday morning, August 31, 2015.
It was about 7:45 a.m. that morning and it appears as if both vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, causing a front-end collision.
At least one person was taken to a hospital, but their injuries were not considered serious. Police said they’re looking into this more, but don’t plan on filing charges.
The school bus did not have any students aboard at the time.
Edit: It appears that two people were injured here, both of them were in the minivan. Their names haven’t been released.
