Troy, AZ – Jeffrey Johnston and Domanic Eng were seriously injured in a crash in Troy, Arizona on Thursday, August 27th, 2015. The accident happened around 2:20 pm.
It’s believed that Johnston ran a stop sign while traveling westbound on Tower Road when the accident happened. He and was struck at the intersection by a vehicle driven by Gordon Waller.
Waller and his passenger, Mitchel Wayne, suffered minor injuries in the crash.
Johnston and Eng were extricated from their vehicle by rescuers before being taken to a nearby hospital.
Reports mention that Johnson smelled of alcohol and admitted to drinking a beer earlier in the day. Johnston was cited for OWI and failure to stop at a stop sign causing great bodily harm.
