Local reports say that this accident took place at a professional boat and jet ski repair shop. While no one expects their place of business to suddenly go up in flames, these are the kind of accidents that business-owners need to be aware can happen, and have to take steps to prevent. The question now becomes, why wasn’t this prevented? Were there safety measures not in place that should have been? Were there safety measures that were being ignored? I’m not placing blame on any one person, but something went wrong here, and a man has been badly hurt because of it. It’s important that whenever accidents like this happen, they’re examined and policy is changed to reflect those findings, because the entire point is to make sure the same thing doesn’t happen again somewhere down the road.
