Yonkers, NY — The local police in Yonkers claimed that 10 people were injured this past Wednesday (July 30, 2015) after an accident between a shuttle bus for a racetrack and a firetruck. This happened around 6:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the location shown below, Yonkers Ave & Kimball Ave.
At the moment, it’s actually not clear what caused the accident, but we do know that six civilians and four firefighters had to be transported to a nearby hospital after the two vehicles apparently collided.
The YPD is investigating this some more, but they haven’t released any new details since Wednesday. We’ll post more information as it becomes available.
