BROCKPORT, NY — Monroe County Authorities have not yet identified the employee of the shoe store that was hurt when a car struck the building in Brockport, New York on Wednesday, July 1st, 2015. Reports from Syracuse, NY said that the accident happened at about 10:30 Wednesday morning.
A 32-year-old female employee of Shoe Department was taken to the hospital when a car drove through the side of the building on Nathanial Poole Trail. The police think that the car, driven by a 98-year-old woman, hit the structure while moving parking spots.
The woman was pinned between the vehicle and shelving, and was taken by EMS to Strong Memorial Hospital with unspecified injuries.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
