BILOXI, MS — State Police confirmed that one person was seriously hurt and another was taken to jail following a two-vehicle accident in Biloxi, Mississippi on Tuesday, June 30th, 2015. Reports out of Houston were not clear as to the time the accident was reported to authorities.
One man was hurt after a vehicle struck another car head-on while on the Popps Ferry Bridge. The report did not say what happened in the accident, or how fast the vehicles were traveling at the time of the crash.
One driver was taken to a nearby hospital where they were reported in stable condition, while the driver of the offending vehicle was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
Harrison County officials are still investigating.
