Local news reports from Round Rock, TX stated that a two-car accident along the frontage road for I-35 on December 29, 2012 sent a car into the near Cinemark Threater. Police said that one of the cars involved in the accident drove off the roadway and into the theater, were it caught fire. In all, 6 people were injured, but none from the theater were hurt.

The cause of the two-car accident has not been determined and it was known if any other factors were present. The wreck happened at about 7:30 p.m. at 2132 North Mays Avenue.
