DUNCANVILLE, TX — A police officer was taken to the hospital after an accident with an alleged DUI driver in Duncanville, Texas on Thursday, April 30th, 2015. News sources out of Dallas said that the accident happened sometime Thursday morning.
Authorities said that a Duncanville Police officer were hurt when a pickup truck hit his police patrol vehicle on Interstate 20. Police said that the officer was chasing a suspect when the pickup truck pulled a corner too fast and hit the officers vehicle.
The police officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after the accident. The driver of the offending pickup truck was identified 28-year-old Keith Reed, who currently faces DUI related charges stemming from the accident.
The Dallas Police are investigating the crash at this time.
