Columbus, GA — At least five people were injured in an accident with an 18-wheeler that took place in Columbus, Georgia, on Wednesday, April 29, 2015. The accident took place on Victory Drive, near the National Civil War Naval Museum.
How the accident took place is unknown at this time. Witnesses say that five vehicles in all were involved. Ambulances were called in to assist with the four passenger vehicles and one 18-wheeler involved in the crash.
The names of those involved in the crash, and the extent of their injuries, have not been disclosed at this time.
The accident is still being investigated.
