FORT SMITH, AR — One person was hurt after a serious car accident that happened in Fort Smith, Arkansas on Friday, February 20th, 2015. Local news out of Little Rock said that the accident happened sometime Friday afternoon.
Authorities familiar with the accident investigation said that one person was hurt when the car they were driving left the roadway and crashed near the intersection of Towson Avenue and Louisville Street. Police said that the vehicle left the road and struck a utility pole before driving into a nearby dtich.
The driver was taken by EMS to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
The investigation is being handled by the Fort Smith Police Department.
