Commentary:
I know the news seems to think that the car may have run the stop sign, but considering the truck was pulling out of a distribution center at the time of the accident, there is also a chance that the truck ran the stop sign first. We’ve seen situations where this is the case, and a quick peek into the truck’s telemetry data could show that the truck never came to a complete stop before the accident. I see from the photos that this is a Wal Mart/Sams Club truck, which has been involved in a litany of fatal accidents over the last years, the most famous of which being the one that critically injured comedic actor Tracy Morgan. If they’ve been at fault for just half the accidents they were involved in, there is a chance that is the case here too.
