According to local news reports, a pedestrian in College Station was struck and injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident. Police said that Lawrence Gargano was crossing University Drive at the 700 block when a black Dodge Durango drove by and struck him, leaving the scene after the accident.

Gargano was taken to a local hospital and was treated for serious injuries, including injuries to his legs. He was in stable condition at last update, news reports said. The driver of the Durango was not identified and police said that the Durango’s mirror was knocked off during the accident.
