FLAGLER COUNTY, FL — Diane Upton was killed after a two-vehicle accident that happened in Flagler County, Florida on Sunday, October 19th, 2014. The news from WCJB said that the accident happened at an intersection in Flagler.
58-year-old Diane Upton was killed when the car she was driving was hit by another car at the intersection of State Road 100 and Landing Boulevard. Police think that Upton was crossing through the intersection when a westbound vehicle failed to stop at the light and collided with another vehicle.
Diane Upton was pronounced dead on the scene after the crash. Two passengers in Upton’s vehicle were identified as Vivian and Kalyn Upton, who were taken to Halifax Hospital with unspecified injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle was identified in the report as 26-year-old Rebecca Lawless. It is not known if she sustained injuries in the crash.
The Flagler County Police are working with the Florida Highway Patrol on determining the cause of the accident.
