AMARILLO, TX — A two-vehicle accident sent one individual to the hospital in Amarillo, Texas on Tuesday, October 21st, 2014. The article released by The Amarillo Globe said that the crash happened around 5:00 Tuesday afternoon.
Police in charge of the accident investigation have said that one unidentified person was hurt when the Saturn they were a passenger in and a pickup truck collided at the intersection of South Georgia Street and Wolflin Avenue. The pickup truck is believed to have failed to yield when it hit the passenger car. The pickup truck wound up on its side after the crash.
One passenger in the car was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Amarillo Police hope any eyewitnesses that have not yet come forward will do so in an effort to help police in determining the cause of the accident.
