WEATHERFORD, TX — Joan Tracy was killed in a two-vehicle accident that was reported in Weatherford, Texas on Sunday, October 12th, 2014. The article from The Weatherford Democrat said that the accident happened at about noon on Sunday.
66-year-old Joan Tracy was killed when the van she was driving and a pickup truck hauling a trailer collided on Highway 171. Police in charge of the accident investigation have said that they have reason to believe the accident happened when the van she was driving skidded into the lanes of oncoming traffic where it struck the 3/4 ton truck head-on.
Tracy was killed in the crash.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is still investigating the accident.
