Conroe, TX news reports stated that a serious accident between two vehicles left four people injured on September 2, 2012. Police said that a Chevrolet and Ford Explorer were involved in an accident at the intersection of SH 242 and FM 1314. A 19-year old girl in the Ford Explorer was reportedly critically injured and has lost her right hand during the accident.

Authorities were still investigating the accident at last update and had not determined the cause of the accident or declared which vehicle was at fault. They suspected that one of the vehicles may have run a red light, but did not confirm any details. Three people in the Explorer were hospitalized, as well as one person in the Chevrolet.
