San Antonio, TX — Two people were injured when a car crashed into a VIA metropolitan transit bus in San Antonio, Texas, on Thursday, July 24, 2014. The accident took place in the 2600 block of Ceralvo Street, around 6:30 in the morning.
Security camera footage released by VIA shows a car crashing into the bus from the right side. Police say the car had run a stop sign. After hitting the bus, the car hit an SUV and a fence, before crashing into two homes.
There was only a single passenger aboard the bus at the time. She sustained no serious injuries. The drivers of the car and the SUV sustained minor injuries.
No word yet on if charges will be filed against the driver.
