Temple, TX — One person was seriously injured after an SUV crashed into a Compass Bank on Monday, July 28, 2014. The accident took place on Marlandwood Road in Temple, Texas, around 10:15 in the morning.
According to reports, three people were riding inside the SUV when the crash occurred. One was taken to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center. Their injuries have been described as non-life-threatening.
No one inside the bank was injured, although they were open for business at the time.
Engineers were called to the scene to assess the damage that was done to the building.
The crash is still being investigated.
