Dallas, TX — Two people were killed and five were injured in an accident between two vehicles on Davis Street in Dallas, Texas. The accident took place on Friday, July 25, 2014, around ten at night.
According to officials, a Nissan Murano was attempting to make a left turn from Davis when it was hit by a Chrysler traveling at speeds of 70-80 miles per hour, an estimated 35-45 miles above the posted speed limit.
Minerva Bravo was one of two victims killed in the accident. She died at the scene. A second man was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital and died a short time later.
Five sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to an area hospital. The names of the others involved have not been released.
