Local news reports from Fort Worth TX stated that Zac Ford 26 was injured in a hit-and-run bicycle accident that happened on August 8 2012. Police said that Ford was riding his bicycle along Camp Bowie Boulevard when an unknown vehicle struck him from behind. The accident happened near Crestline Road.

Ford sustained serious injuries in the accident including a concussion scrapes and bruises and lacerations that required stitches. According to the reports Ford was knocked unconscious in the collision. Authorities were expected to investigate the accident further but did not release any more information about the offending driver.
