According to local news sources a car accident in Austin TX left one 13-year old girl with critical injuries on August 17 2012. Police in Austin said that 24-year old Lauren Renee Cherry was driving along Metric Boulevard in the 12200 block when she swerved off the road for unknown reasons. Her car then struck a 13-year old girl who was walking on a sidewalk with a group.

The victim was critically injured and taken to a nearby hospital. Cherry reportedly fled the Scene of the Accident which happened at 2:45 a.m. and returned at approximately 3:30 a.m. She was charged with failure to stop and render aid police said.

Why was a 13 yr old out at almost 3 in the morning?? And by 6th street walking alone with friends who wete probably her age also. Something doesnt sound right, dont they have curfews?
