According to news sources 51-year old Cleva Lee Burton was injured in Snook TX when he was struck by a passing car along FM 60. Police said that Burton was walking along FM 60 after his truck had experienced mechanical issues when the car hit him. He reportedly stepped out into traffic the unidentified driver claimed which caused Burton to be hit by the sedan.
Scene of the Accident
Burton was taken to a local hospital and was reportedly in critical condition according to medical officials. The woman driving the sedan as well as her two female passengers were not injured in the accident though no names were given. The accident happened on August 6 2012.
