Local news reports in Odessa TX stated that a 4-car accident along Highway 191 left one person injured on July 9 2012. Police said that a pickup truck driving east on 191 stalled and began to pull off the roadway. Behind the truck a suburban and a sedan slowed down in response causing the sedan to rear-end the suburban. The driver of the sedan was identified as 54-year old Dennis Gilmore and he was listed as injured at a local hospital.

After the first collision a cement truck crashed into a another pickup truck while trying to slow down for the accident causing minor injuries to the driver 51-year old Dustin Radabaugh. The cement truck driver Ray Nelson was reportedly not injured in the wreck.
