According to news reports in College Station 61-year old Richard Corn was listed as critically injured after a motorcycle accident on June 15 2012. Corn was reportedly riding his Harley-Davidson Road King along Harvey Mitchell Parkway when he came upon a red light and attempted to suddenly stop.

Corn was thrown from his bike after he lost control resulting in head injuries despite wearing a helmet police said. Medical personnel on the scene said that Corn was bleeding from his ears and required assistance with breathing. His motorcycle apparently struck a stopped vehicle at the red light but no other injuries were reported. The accident happened at about 1:30 in the afternoon.
