Commentary:
It suggests in the news article that one of the tractor-trailers failed to yield, which may have some serious implications in the accident. If this news article turns out to be accurate, then the victims involved may automatically assume they have a slam-dunk, open-and-shut case, when in reality no commercial vehicle case is open-and-shut. The companies behind these trucks have years of experience and nearly unlimited resources in handling these kinds of accidents, whereas the victims have only been in one, maybe two accidents in their entire lives. This is the main thing that separates commercial vehicle accidents and commuter vehicle crashes.
