CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — One man was taken to the hospital after an SUV collided with a private residence in Corpus Christi, Texas on Sunday, May 25th, 2014, according to a news report from KIII-TV.
Investigators have said that they believe one person was hurt in a crash when the SUV they were driving hopped the curb and crashed into a home on Tarleton Road around 4:00 Sunday morning.

One person was trapped in the vehicle and was taken by EMS personnel to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
Police are trying to figure out if alcohol played a role in the crash.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
Commentary:
If alcohol is found to have caused this accident, finding out if liquor liability laws have been broken should be the next task. If this driver had recently left a bar where he was served to the point of intoxication and beyond, the bar that fueled them could be liable for the damages sustained in the crash. This is a benefit that is fairly rare in many states, and holding bars liable for the accident is the only way to get bars to see drunk drivers as a liability.
