Commentary:
The report says that multiple vehicles were involved in the crash, and people may wonder how the situation is handled after the accident. In the State of Texas, we use a system of Modified Comparative Fault. It is a system that while not perfect, aids in bringing he-said-she-said situations that tend to come out after accidents. In this system, fault is determined by a judge or jury after being presented with evidence, and a decision is made based off a percentage scale.
